[tor-dev] Basics of Developing #newbie

Hello! I am new to Tor-Dev & am looking forward to contributing as much as I can.  My question is, after resolving any bug in my local copy of the source code, what are the next steps? Basically, do I have to build again? Run tests? And other similar tasks in what order?

Hope you got my question. I went through this in the wiki & FAQs but did not find anything detailed. (Hopefully I'll write one when I know it all)
