We at Whonix are currently porting to (non-VM) physical builds on arm64 - specifically RPi3. While this is great for headless applications we are interested in GUI user adoption. Without Tor Browser for arm64 this won't be as safe as it can be. Can you please consider releasing builds for this hardware platform?
Hi,

We at Whonix are currently porting to (non-VM) physical builds on arm64
- specifically RPi3. While this is great for headless applications we
are interested in GUI user adoption. Without Tor Browser for arm64 this won't be as safe as it can be. Can you please consider releasing builds for this hardware platform?
A few suggestions to improve the chances your proposal/request gets some more traction:
- describe the expected benefits for users
- send this to tbb-dev: https://lists.torproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tbb-dev
- give it (building on arm64) a try so everybody can have an idea of how much work is required
- look at the work done on Tor Browser for Android, that probably builds for some kind of ARM platform
:)
Cheers,
