Hey! I’m not sure whether I understand the instructions correctly, but here’s my introduction. My name is Katarina. I’m from Slovakia. I’ve been a translator / English teacher for over 15 years. I’ve recently seen Joe Rogan’s podcast with Edward Snowden, about whom I’ve known since 2013 because I’ve been a part of “hacker” community in Slovakia since I was a student. My best friend was involved in negotiation of data protection laws back in the early 2000s. Anyway, I’d like to help somehow and the best, I guess, want I can do at this point is to translate Tor Browser to Slovak. I’d also like to raise the awareness of people in online security. We’ll see where this takes me. I’m looking forward to cooperation with the community! I’m a dog owner, I love photography, I used to blog about learning English, I sprout. And I currently stepped down from some stressful projects so I’ve got time to pursue volunteering for the Tor project. Thanks for your time. Best, Katarina

Dear Erin, Firstly, I would like to thank you for your prompt response. I have always trusted the excellent job of the Tor community and their managers to gave me a solution to my enquiries despite the huge number of requests that I supposed you have had. In fact, I have just received an hour ago your resolutions concerning my two membership applications linked to the Spanish and Galician translation teams. However, it is with much disappointment that my translation membership solicitation within the Galician team has been turned down, without any explanation. As a result, I would like to know the reason(s) why my enquiry has been rejected. What's more, I would be very pleased if you could find me a solution to the incidence, as I am very interested in taking part in the Galician translation, which is one of my native languages. I reckon that I would be able to make my contribution to this common cause by giving my very best while I am translating. Should you have questions, please feel free to contact me. Hi there!, I am NorwegianFox, a new user in the Translation Community. I am writing this email in order to request some help with a doubt concerning to the "membership approval" in a translation team. First of all, I would like to thank all of you in advance for all the cooperation and effort that you have put into this project. I'm very fond of of Tor Project, especially, regarding its privacy and ideology related with privacy and I really appreciate your voluntary assistance and improvements to try to reach into every country . In fact, it was for this reason that I signed up for my local translation teams by entering in the Localization Lab department in the Transifex webpage- I am already translator in other opensource projects). However, I have requested my translator membership for the last five days and I'm still awaiting the approval of the Tor community, that's to say, I have received neither confirm nor deny. For all these exposed reasons, I'd be very pleased if you could indicate whether there is a factor or requirement to access to the Tor translation team or how many days should the membership approval last to enter in the translation.
