If anyone has access to a Windows XP install, could you please try running the builds from ticket https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/10252?
Specifically: https://people.torproject.org/~gk/testbuilds/torbrowser-install-3.5-alpha-1p... https://people.torproject.org/~gk/testbuilds/torbrowser-install-3.5-alpha-1p...
Any reports from other versions of Windows is also useful, of course.

Maybe it has something to do with the Nvidia graphics driver.

Hmm... This might actually happen due to "layers.acceleration.disabled" set to "false" which caused considerable issues in TBBs based on ESR 17 and got therefore set to "true" there (although only blank Tor Network Settings were reported IIRC). Does the bundle work if you right click on 'Start Tor Browser' and select "Properties->Compatibility->Run in Windows XP Compatibility mode" and if so, does it work without compat mode if you set that pref to "true" and start as usual?

I tested using Windows XP compatibility mode (service pack 2, 3) and it still crashes.
I added user_pref("layers.acceleration.disabled", true); and the results were:
-Windows 7 64-bit: works. -Windows XP compatibility mode (service pack 2, 3): works.

I did a quick "smoke test" on a WinXP sp3 system.
The bundle started normally and I did not notice any problems accessing sites such as google.com, slashdot.org, and torproject.org.

Probably expected, but it works fine on Win7 (without the nvidia drivers).
