Did you happen to drag your window size/resize it/maximize it before running the test? Everything else it tests for should be exactly the same among all Tor Browser users.

Yes that was it: maximised window. If I leave the window as is on start and then check immediately I get one in 39,160 browsers and 15.26 bits of identifying information ... much better!
Thanks for pointing it out, I'll leave it at default in future for testing.
