i'm running a relay on my pi2 using raspberian. it chugs along day after day. for me, one of the main reasons i use the pi is low power consumption, and computing resources need power. i am ok with running a somewhat pokey relay, knowing i am still helping even if at a slow rate.

so i can assure you it runs, but i have done nothing to try and tweak the performance in any way.
