Would we be open to using a 3rd party service for comments, like Disqus, or would we still want to host all the comments ourselves, but separately from the posts?

I was thinking more along the lines of blog comments or forum posts, I think currently the blog allows anonymous posting which shouldn't be a problem but if ever any part of the site requires creating an account for end-users then we should give it a thought before choosing a solution.
We want to replace the current blog (with comments) by a solution where content and comments are separated. See: < https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/milestone/2014%20Tor%20Blog%20Repla...
If anyone else would like to help with contributing to the website content with documentation, language improvements or anything else, we will find ways to make it happen. I believe we can find people to do some “marking up” on submission that are not directly in the right format.
